In the early days, the company began as a wholesale importer of silk floral and holiday décor. Buyers explored the Asian Continent to discover the highest quality silk floral stems, bushes, plants, trees and foliage. Success brought recognition of an expertise in answering consumer tastes. Soon company designers were traveling to Asia to design product for mass production for wholesale importers in the USA. Many of these proven designs may be seen at the World Trade Center in Dallas, wholesale markets in Las Vegas and Atlanta and retailers across the country.
BWI’s Houston warehouse continues to build custom made trees and floral arrangements for both the retail and wholesale markets throughout the year.
As a natural jump and with the same artistic flare, the company built lavish window and showroom displays to show off the imported products to retailers. Increased product sales convinced the company to venture into a new division focusing on Commercial and Residential Decor Installations. Two initial formulas proved successful and popular with clients. By utilizing products on hand to “re-decorate” or “make over" fresh new looks are created. With a complete "remodel" of the décor, client’s intentions are realized with new products.
Again, clients were so pleased with the décor installations; they turned to BWI for Holiday Decor. Designers create unique displays in hospitals, corporate offices, condominiums, estates, celebrity homes, ranches and fine furniture stores. BWI markets the latest in holiday product through the World Trade Center in Dallas, Texas and Gen's Antiques in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood.
BWI jewelry designs have received an enthusiastic reception. Exquisite custom made and costume jewelry pieces showcase value and timeless taste. Within the next year, BWI will introduce a new line of master-crafted jewelry.
